Description

This is a super quality antique Victorian sterling silver three piece bachelor teaset comprising of a teapot, sugar bowl and jug.

The jug and bowl are both hallmarked for Birmingham 1888 and the teapot is Birmingham 1887 and all three show the silversmiths mark for Thomas Hayes.

The teapot measures 8 1/4? (21 cms) across including the handle x 3 1/2? (9 cms) x 5 1/4? (12 cms) tall to the top of the lid, the jug is 4? (10 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 2 3/4? (7 cms) tall to the top of the spout and the sugar bowl is 5 1/2? (14 cms) across including the handles x 2 3/4? (7 cms) high to the rim.

All three items are in excellent condition with no dings or dents and with no inscriptions or monograms.

They weigh a total of 592 grams / 19 troy oz and would make a great addition to any collection.
