Rare English Import Sterling Silver 1732 Coin Wine Taster 1909 Snake Handle

Description

A rare English import solid sterling silver wine taster. It is hallmarked with the import marks for Chester 1909 with the importers mark being that of Boaz Moses Landeck.

It has been beautifully made having a 1732 French King Louis XV silver coin inset and a cast handle in the form of a snake.

It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs.

It measures approx. 4.25 inches (11cms) across including the handle and 3.25 inches (8cms) excluding it by 1.5 inches (3.7cms) tall and weighs a heavy 98 grams.
