Beautiful Edwardian Silver Gilt & Blue Enamel Compact by Horton & Allday

Description

A fabulous Edwardian solid silver gilt and enamel compact for a pendant chain or chatelaine. This wonderful example is all over decorated in guilloche enamel in pale blue, highlighted by silver gilt borders. The hinged lid opens to reveal a fully gilded interior with a mirror. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 by Horton & Allday.

A fine example in superb condition throughout, very light wear to the gilding.
