Antique Victorian Sterling Silver & Cut Glass Claret Jug

Description

An antique Victorian sterling silver and glass claret jug which has a round bulbous shaped body with lovely hobnail cut glass decoration and resting on a flat star cut base. It has a plain silver mount with a hinged lid and an angular shaped handle which is comfortable to hold. This silver claret jug would make a desirable addition to a collection, would be ideal to use and would make a perfect gift. It will hold a full bottle of wine.

Height: 15.6 cms (6.1")

Diameter of body: 12 cms (4.7")

They were hallmarked in Birmingham for 1894 by Heath & Middleton and remains in excellent condition.

Complimentary postage is included within the price of this claret jug.
