Pair of Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 'Champagne Cork' Pepper Pots 1879

Description

This is a fabulous and unusual pair of antique Victorian sterling silver novelty peppers in the style of champagne corks each measuring 2? (5 cms) tall x 1? (2.5 cms) across the base.

They have matching hallmarks for Sheffield 1879 with the makers mark for Henry Wilkinson & Co and one has the registered mark for 22nd March, 1880 which is the date the patent was registered.

They weigh 63 grams/2 troy oz the pair and are in super condition with great detail and are perfectly usable today.

These lovely peppers will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
