Antique Victorian Silver Coffee Pot

Description

This is a very attractive solid sterling silver coffee pot, dating from the end of the Victorian era.

It is clearly hallmarked on the side, with partial hallmarks on the lid, for London 1899 with the maker's mark for Charles Stuart Harris. The ebonised handle is well secured to the classic bulbous body. The foliage decoration is crisp and encircles two empty cartouches. There is a very slight wobble to the pedestal base.
