This is an unusual item, a shoe or slipper shaped box, the interior lined with the original pink silk and plum coloured velvet. It has a small circular mirror inset into the base behind the scissors.

The fitted interior comprises of a stiletto, needlecase, scissors (one arm repaired), and a s thimble (replacement).

The box is made from a variety of woods including rosewood and fruitwood.

It measures 16.5cm l x 5.5cm w
