Rare Incused Duty English Solid Sterling Silver Basting Spoon 1785 Antique 100g

Description

A rare Georgian solid sterling silver serving spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1785 with the makers mark being RC for Richard Crossley, note this is the seldom seen incuse duty mark only used for a couple of years. It has been nicely designed being made to what is termed Old English pattern. It is in super condition being free from dings splits wear and repairs. It measures approx. 11.75 inches (29.5cms) long by 2 inches (4.8cms) wide and weighs 100 grams. A rare and interesting example.
