Description

A superb Victorian solid silver card case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1896 with the makers mark being that of T H Hazelwood & Co. It has been superbly made being curved to allow it to sit in a pocket comfortable. It has been engraved 'TO MR GEORGE ROBERTSON ALONG WITH A SIGNET RING FROM A FEW FRIENDS IN THE OCCASION OF HIS LEAVING FOR CULCUTTA DUNDEE 27 OCT 1897'. It is in superb condition being free from dings holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.8cms) long by 1.5 inches (4cms) tall weighs 32 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
