A good quality small 18th Century figured Mahogany Kneehole Desk of excellent colour and patina, with cross grain mouldings and original cross grain veneered feet.
This well made and very honest piece has good clean original Oak linings and carcass.
One back foot is replaced and also the handles with period examples, otherwise the desk is original.
There is the remnant of an old label to the underneath, but it is impossible to say what was written upon it.
All the locks are original with working keys to the top drawer and the door of the kneehole.
