A super quality solid silver and rose gold box. It is marked with a touch mark to its lip edge - it tests as high grade silver and rose gold. I would date it to c1940s. It has a stylish design being internally gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, a tiny mark to the base, see final photo. Designed for a desk rather than a pocket as the lid simply rests flush rather than clicks shut. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (9cms) across by 2.25 inches (5.8cms) wide by 0.5 inch (1.5cms) tall and weighs 144 grams. A very high quality example.
