Description

A super quality Victorian solid silver sugar caster by maker Millar Wilkinson, of St Michaels Alley, Cornhill, London. Fully hallmarked London 1910.

This impressive caster, measures 18cm tall, of Neo-Classical urn form, the pierced cover with flame finial and the body decorated with draped swags bow, all standing on a circular domed foot. Complete with original glass liner. Weight excluding the liner: 177 grams.

In excellent condition throughout, with no damage or restoration to the silver. The original liner does have two slither chips which are only noticeable when removing the cap, however are not visible otherwise and do not affect the display or use ability of this fine example.
