A rare English Edwardian solid sterling silver combination cigar cutter & ashtray. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1903 with the maker’s marks being that of LE for Lawrence Emanuel. It has been superbly made being of love heart form and engraved with initials and the crested used by the Main family. It is superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs and works. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (9cms) across by 4.5 inches (11.5cms) front to back by 2.75 inches (7cms) tall and weighs 56 grams. A superbly designed rare piece.
