Antique George IV Sterling Silver Wine Coasters

Description

A fine pair of Antique George IV Sterling silver wine coasters which are circular in shape with deep bodies with fluted decoration, wide top rims with gadroon and shell detailing and resting on flat bases. The wooded bases remain in excellent condition and they still retain the original silver bosses, which have been hallmarked on the reverse. These silver wine coasters would grace any dining table and would be perfect to use.

Height : 5 cms (2").

Diameter of rim : 15.5 cms (6.1").

Diameter of base : 12.5 cms (4.9").

They were hallmarked in Sheffield for 1826 by John & Thomas Settle and remain in excellent condition.

Complimentary postage is included within the price.
