Victorian Rare English Solid Sterling Silver Scent Perfume Bottle 1890 Antique

Description

A rare English Victorian sterling silver scent perfume bottle. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1890 with the maker’s marks being that of John Millward Banks. It has been beautifully made being embossed with a scrolls, a flower and a knights helmet, possibly an armorial crest. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.8cms) tall excluding the chain by 1.5 inches (3.8cms) and weighs 14 grams. A beautiful rare piece.
