Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Mounted Desk Top Stationery Folder 1884

Description

This is a lovely antique Victorian sterling silver mounted on a dark purple velvet desk top stationery folder.

All the silver has matching hallmarks for London 1884 with the silversmiths mark for William Comyns.

It measures 11 1/2" (29 cms) across x 9" (22 cms) when closed.

The four corners are decorated with muskateer type characters and there is a central cartouche flagged on either side with a pair of cherubs.

There are no inscriptions or monograms.
