Rare Large Heavy 98g Sterling Silver Menu Holder Galleon Ship C1920 Stunning

Description

A superb rare large solid cast sterling silver menu holder. It is hallmarked SILVER twice and tests as such. I would date it to c1920. It has been superbly designed being cast in the form of Galleon style ship of the 16th / 17th centuries. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.8cms) wide by 2.75 inches (7cms) tall so can hold a good sized menu. It weighs a very impressive 98 grams. A very unusual top quality example.
