Antique Sterling Silver 'Sampson Mordan' Purse 1912

Description

This is a super antique sterling silver hallmarked purse measuring 4 3/4? (12 cm) across x 2 1/4? (6 cm) and hallmarked for Chester 1912 with the silversmiths mark for Sampson, Mordan & Co.

Both sides are plain with no inscriptions or monograms and are in excellent condition - any marks you can see are just reflections.

Inside is lined in brown/tan leather and has a little clip to keep the central section closed.

This purse is unusual as the opening section is not the whole side just the central section (see photos).

This item will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
