Comments: This lovely vintage pendant features the profile of a saint, probably the Virgin Mary. It is signed E. Dropsy on the right. Emile Dropsy was (1848 – 1923) a renowned French medallist. He is considered today as the religious medallist with the purest design. It is controlled with the French eagle’s head on the bale with the maker’s mark of the jeweller Perroud (Lyon, France). It presents few traces of wears however it is in good vintage condition.
