Description

This delightful and rather unusual mid -Victorian small wine taster was made by the reputed silversmith George Unite and is dated Birmingham 1862 . The scallop shell shaped bowl with vine leaf entwined handle.
Hallmarks:
GU for George Unite.
Duty Mark.
Lion Passant.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "N" for 1862.
Dimensions and Weight:
Diameter: 5cm / 2 inches.
Height up to handle: 2.5cm / 1 inch
