The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
A solid sterling silver pin cushion modelled as a gondola. It is hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1906. Whilst the maker's mark is worn in the middle, it is almost certainly for Saunders and Shepherd. The cushion looks to be original, a faded blue fabric.
