Miniature Continental Silver Chair with Cello Player Import Hallmarks for Sheffield 1895

Description

A delightful miniature continental silver chair. The chair is clearly decorated on the top featuring a musician playing a Cello. The seat imitates rush seating and the legs are lovely bobbin twisted. It is clearly marked with import marks, assayed in Sheffield with a date mark of 1895.

 

A wonderful miniature item - great for a collector, or for a dolls house setting.

 

Condition: In lovely antique collector's condition.

 

Measurements: Height: 5.2 cm Width: 2.6 cm Depth: 2.0 cm Weight: 14.6 grams
