Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
They have pretty protruding scroll edges to both the top and bottom. Hallmarks are visible on both for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1903, Lion Passant indicating fine sterling silver and the maker's mark for the silver maker William Henry Sparrow.
