A super quality solid sterling silver snuff or tobacco box. It is hallmarked for London 1946 with the maker’s marks being AN&S. It has a stylish design being internally gilded with a concealed hinge, cast catch, and engine turned exterior. The inside is clean. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight. It measures almost 3.25 inches (8cms) across by 2.25 inches (5.6cms) wide by 1cm tall and weighs 98 grams. A very high quality example.
