Description

This is a beautiful antique tortoiseshell and sterling silver handkerchief box measuring 8" (20 cms) x 6" (15 cms) x 2 1/2" (6.5 cms) high.

This beautiful box is made of tortoiseshell with the word 'Handkerchief' mounted on the top in sterling silver.

It's hallmarked for Chester 1899 with the silversmiths mark for Cornelius Shepherd & James Frances Shepherd - the lock is also marked with the same silversmiths initials and is Chester 1895 - unfortunately there is no key.

Inside is lined in green velvet which is nice and clean and ready for use and the whole item is in excellent condition with no damage.
