A beautiful Irish solid sterling silver cup or porringer bowl. It is hallmarked with Dublin marks for 1968 the makers being the Royal Irish Silver Company along with Sheffield import markers for 1968 with the importers mark being SAO for Sheffield Assay Office. It has been superbly made in the style of an earlier piece and is in superb condition being free from dings splits inscriptions holes and repairs. The whole piece measures approx. 5.25 inches (13.3cms) across including the handle and 3.5 inches (9cms) excluding it by 1.5 inches (3.7cms) and weighs an impressive 148 grams. A super quality piece.
