A beautiful solid sterling silver jewellery or trinket box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham c1927 (date letter partially rubbed) with the makers marks being those of the Zimmermans. It has been beautifully made being nicely shaped, supported on four feet, with internal lid gilding, and a blue felt lining. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The hinge works perfectly and the inside is clean. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8cms) across by 2 inches (5cms) by 1.25 inch (3cms) tall and weighs 85 grams. A beautifully made piece.
