Rare Dutch Solid Silver Clog Shoe Snuff Box C1900 Novelty Antique 30g

Description

A beautiful rare Dutch novelty solid silver box. It is hallmarked with the Dutch sword silver mark. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully made being in the form of a clog / shoe embossed with 18th century scenes. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The inside is perfectly clean and gilded and the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cms) long by over 1 inch (2.7cms) wide by 1.25 inches (3.4cms) wide and weighs 30 grams. A beautifully made rare high quality piece.
