Comments: This lovely ring is made in 18kt gold and platinum (tested) is set with one ruby, surrounded with rose cut diamonds and two drilled pearls. The stones are set on platinum and the ring band is in 18kt gold. Its name comes from the smile of the Marquise de Pompadour, the mistress of the French king Louis XV who offered her a ring of the same shape of her delicate smile. This one is from the early 20th century.
