Elegant Edwardian mahogany stool on four carved cabriole legs on claw and ball feet. The oblong stool pad is covered in an attractive needlepoint tapestry in a floral design and is in good condition having no tears or frays but can easily be re- covered to own taste. The stool is a wonderful rich colour with great patina and very sturdy having only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. Overall a lovely footstool and a piece of antique furniture which is both functional and decorative.
