Geo.III silver tea caddy; of oval panelled form with a hinged lid. The body has nice crisp brightcut decoration, typical of the period; the front bears a monogram within a laurel pattern cartouche, the cartouche to the rear is vacant. Elegant example by a well-regarded maker.
