Antique silver Syren full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Syren, a brand name used by an importer of watches manufactured by Record and Revue. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the covers for London (import mark), 1919, George Stockwell. From 1 June 1907, Stockwells acted as assay agents, facilitating the import into Britain of foreign gold and silver items which had to be assayed and hallmarked in a UK assay office before being released for retail.

The case is in good condition with just a hint of unevenness to the front and back, nothing too serious at all.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
