Antique Victorian Sterling Silver & Glass Jar 1889

Description

This is a large antique Victorian glass jar with a bold sterling silver lid which has lovely decoration.

It's in super condition and the lid and rim of the jar are hallmarked for London 1889 with the silversmiths mark for Julius Rosenthal and Samuel Jacob - the rim of the jar also shows that is was retailed by Albert Barker, 5 New Bond St, London.

It measures 6 3/4" (17 cms) tall x 3 1/2" (9 cms) across and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

This item will come with a certificate of authenticity.
