Antique Solid Silver Twin Handled Cake Stand

1920 - 1940
Description

A superb solid silver twin handled cake stand with removable dividers. It has a beautifully shaped dished surface and stands on a square pedestal foot. It is excellent quality with a decorative border around the rim and beautifully cast handles.

The stand and both dividers are clearly hallmarked for Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd, Sheffield 1935. The whole pieces weighs 1001g.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and a few light surface scratches and minor dinks but no major damages and overall it displays very well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Width including handles : 11 3/4" (30cm)

Width : 8 1/2" (22cm)

Height to stand : 3" (8cm)

Height to top of dividers : 4" (10cm)
