Description

Beautiful Victorian English solid sterling silver nutcracker. It is hallmarked for London 1901 with the makers marks being JA. It has been superbly cast in solid silver (very unusual) with a crest to its terminal - this is the crest of the Whately family. It is in outstanding condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 5 inches (12.8cms) long and weighs 150 grams. Stunning and rare.
