A beautiful very high quality English solid sterling silver snuff or tobacco box. It is hallmarked for Chester 1915 with the makers marks being that of William Neale & Son Ltd. It has been stylishly made being of a curved form to allow to fit inside a pocket and has been gilded internally. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the hinge is strong. The lids clicks shut tightly. It measures approx. 3.5 inch (9cms) long by 2.25 inches (5.7cms) wide by 0.75 inch (2cms) tall and weighs 80 grams. A very high quality piece.
