A superb English Victorian sterling silver inkwell and dip pen stand. It is hallmarked for London 1897 with the maker's mark being that of Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd. It has been superbly made and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the odd faint mark. It retains its original glass well which is free from chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cms) across by over 2.5 inches (6.6cms) tall and weighs 126 grams. A beautiful and useable piece.
