A beautiful rare English Art Deco sterling silver card case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1912 with the makers marks being D&F. It has been superbly made in the form of an envelope with sprung top and internal gilding. The front cartouche has been engraved EJC. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The lid is highly sprung. It measures 4.25 inches (10.8cms) wide by 3 inches tall excluding the chain and weighs 106 grams. A beautifully made example.
