Description

A very rare solid sterling silver Royalty bookmark. It is hallmarked for Chester 1896 CSFS for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd. It has been superbly designed being made to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (9cms) long by 0.75 inch (1.9cms) wide and weighs 8 grams. A very interesting and rare example.
