Description

A fabulous and unusual Art Deco silver Hand Mirror. The design is in the form of a classic car wing mirror. The silver pattern on the back is iconic Deco featuring four triangles, each one engraved with stripes, giving a three-dimensional effect. The reverse of the handle is the mirror (there are some marks visible to the glass, however, it is still very usable and we mention these for accuracy). A number has been engraved on the mirror side of the handle: '792K'. The silver is in super antique collector's condition.

A superb item for a collector of Art Deco silver, with clear hallmarks on one side for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1928, and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. (The silver maker's mark is slightly rubbed.)
