Description

A beautiful rare Chinese export silver card case. It is hallmarked 85 for a minimum 850 grade and a makers mark OH or HO. I would date it to c1890-1910. It have been beautifully embossed with a dragon to its front bamboo to the reverse. It is in superb condition being free from dings holes and repairs. The cartouche has engraved initials. It measures over 3 inches (8cms) by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) and weighs 40 grams. A superbly designed beautiful rare example.
