An Extremely Rare Georgian Silver 'Frontiniac' Label

A handsome and rather rare Georgian silver wine label by a female silversmith. This charming example has 'Frontiniac' engraved in 'pricked' capitals and is oval in shape, with a reeded border. Frontiniac is the anglicized version of Frontignac - a sweet muscadet wine from the Languedoc region of France. An unusual and interesting piece for the collector. Dimensions below.
