A Victorian Silver Mounted Cranberry Scent Bottle

A superb Victorian silver mounted scent bottle. This unusual and eye catching design has a glass body of flashed and cut through cranberry and is cylindrical in shape. The silver lid is hinged and of shaped repousse design, with a gilded interior. Inside there is the original glass peg stopper. A lovely and eye catching collector's item, usable today. Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the glass. The silver has no splits or dents.

Hallmarks :- Unmarked but tests as silver (not unusual for small silver scent bottle tops).

Height :- 10.5 cms.

Diameter :- 3.5 cms. (widest point).
