Description

Circa 1900, late 19th century/early 20th century heavy cut glass claret jug by famous makers Martin and Hall, in bulbous shape. With beautifully engraved silver plate mounts that echo the shapes of the cuts in the glass, and elegant strapwork handle, this is a wonderful piece to use or display.

The deep cuts in the glass catch the light beautifully, and it stands on a footed starcut base.

Size-approximately 11 inches high by 5.5 inches wide, with 5 1/8 inch diameter base.

Weight-1.2 kilos.

A lovely and elegant example, beautifully made, and in very good condition.
