A beautiful German solid silver trinket box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark and the 800 silver standard mark as well as French import marks. I would date this piece to c1900. It has been beautifully designed having a cast lid depicting cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean, the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.2cms) long by 2.25 inches (5.7cms) wide by 0.75 inch (1.7cms) tall and weighs 84 grams. A very high quality example.
