A super quality rare English solid sterling silver combination cigarette (or tobacco box), vesta case and wick holder. It is hallmarked for London 1916 with the makers mark being FB for Frederick Thomas Buckthorpe. It has been stylishly designed having two separate compartments one for cigarettes and one for matches and also has a tube along its side to hold a cord wick. It has been internally gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10cms) across by 2.25 inches (5.7cms) wide by over 0.5 inch (1.7cms) tall and weighs 148 grams. A very high quality rare example.
