A rare solid sterling silver and green enamelled box. It is hallmarked with import marks for London 1927 with the importers mark being PHV for P H Vogel & Co. It has been beautifully designed being enamelled on all sides with the interior being richly gilded. It is in outstanding condition being free from dings splits and repairs. All the enamel is perfect and the inside clean and gilded. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.2cms) across by 2.25 inches (5.5cms) wide by 0.5 inches (1.3cms) tall and weighs 132 grams. A superbly made very high quality piece.
