English Georgian Sterling Silver Crested Marrow Scoop 1791 Antique 44g

Description

A rare solid sterling silver marrow scoop spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1791 with the makers mark being possibly Samuel Green. It has been superbly designed being engraved with a lion holding a spear crest. It is in superb condition having no dings splits repairs or reapairs, the larger scoop veers and is slightly more worn on left from use. It measures approx. 8.75 inches (22cms) long by 0.75 inch (2cms) wide and weighs 44 grams. A well made very interesting piece.
