A rare large heavy Anglo Indian solid sterling silver cigarette case. It is hallmarked STERLING SILVER and dates to c1920s-1940. It has been superbly made having village scenes to the front and map to the back all with gilded highlights. The inside has been gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, light spots to the internal gilding. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.6cms) long by 3.25 inches (8.2cms) wide and weighs a very impressive 194 grams. A beautifully design rare piece.
