Description

This is a beautiful antique German silver letter rack with floral and pierced decorative work and with a blank cartouche on each side.

It measures 5 1/4" (13.5 cms) long x 2 3/4" (7 cms) high and weighs 92.6 grams.

It's tricky to date as the makers mark is rubbed and we can only see the German '800' mark but from its style I think it is reasonable to assume that it comes from around the 1920's.
